A Treat and the Posts of the Week

I saw this little interaction between this woman and pooch while out walking the other day. The dog was really hesitant to take the doggie treat which she just happened to have in her pocket. Eventually the pup did accept it and each went on their own way.

Before you head off on your own way, I wanted to let you know that there will be a bit of a treat for you folks tomorrow - in the form of a giveaway. Please be sure to tune in tomorrow morning to read all about it. And of course, there will also be a few photos, as usual.

And now, without further delay, here are the Posts of the week. The icon below is yours for the taking if if your blog post is named as a Post of the Week - either as top post or as a runner up.

I started reading the links to POTW and forgot to comment. Love this little photo. There are a million stories in that one shot.

Love your picture and the story that goes with it.
Hilary, I am honored beyond words. (Your award even got my husband to watch the video and read the comments!)

I plan to recline in my computer chair and enjoy working my way through your list.

I am deeply honored and humbled, Hilary. Thank you so much!

Your photo resonated with me, too. A while back, I captured a scooter-borne lady of a certain age walking her dog. It was such a sweet moment that I had to share it. I'll need to dig it up and share the link. Soon...

Thanks again. You've made my day.

A good pup, he needs to know from his pack leader that it is okay to accept.

Hi Hilary: This sounds of course very intriguing and I want to come back for a look. :) There are so many fine bloggers listed here and I'll have to investigate.

Hilary, I like little daily interest stories, and you have hit this with your elderly lady and the dog picture. Thanks. Dave

What a great moment! And thanks for the posts recommendations.

Thanks kindly, everyone. Your warm comments here and on the POTW blogs are very much appreciated. You folks really are the best. :)

That is a great photo. I can see the hesitancy in the dog. The colors are clean and sharp. I like that I can't see any of the faces. The dog's owner is looking away and the lady on the scooter is facing forward and the man in front of her is body only. Really great composition.

I will check out the posts you recommend. Hope you are doing well.

yay! Thanks!

The lady reminds me of my lovely old dad - all the local dogs in his area know to stop when he's in the garden, he has a pocketful of dog biscuits and no dog of his own.

Thank you for the mention, I look forward to visiting the other bloggers
you mention*!*
