A Flowery Photo and Posts of the Week

I took this photo from my front deck. Frank's car tire can be seen behind the iris. We'll be heading up to his family cottage for a few days but I'll have more photos for you Thursday and Sunday in scheduled posts.

And now without further delay, here are the Posts of the Week.

The icon to the left here is yours for the taking if your blog post has been named as a Post of the Week - either as top post or as a runner up, today or in past weeks.

I simply love your image today Hilary. And the quote that complements it so well; they are both so full of opposites and contradictions.

As always congratulations to everyone, I am looking forward to discover new lovely places with your help.
And thank you so much for the mention, glad you enjoyed the post about People and Plants.;)) I am flattered.;)

Have a great time at the cottage,
xoxo

This is my first time as a follower getting to find new posts. This of course is always dangerous, just when I think I can keep up, I find dozens more I can't resist. Like yours. Love the picture, BTW.

The tire in the background give so much more interest to the picture. The flower is really lovely. This week's posts are great, some of them are new to me. I like to hear of blogs I have never seen. Thanks.

Hey Hilary! I'm so behind this week! I have visited all the posts of the week, though and I'm the better for having done it (summer cold here, nothing tragic, just inelegant!)

Thanks, as always, for helping to make my Wednesday :-)

Oh, WOW... thanks for the mention, Hilary. I had a couple of congratulation comments on my blog today and had no idea what they were talking about. Guess I need to get my head out of the clouds and pay attention more often. Much appreciated coming from you and your wonderful blog. I love stopping by here and enjoy your work immensely.
