Spring Emerges

Plant life has grown considerably over the past couple of weeks. Just a short while back, branches were bare. Leaves and flowers are now in near-full bloom but during that magical time in between, I was out with my camera, snapping a few shots for emerging buds. I hope you enjoy them.

Glad to see spring is now unpacking its bags in your back yard!!!

Love that third pic. Wish I could be posting spring pictures right now!

Spring never fails to amaze me.... how everything endures such a cold hard winter and seems to be totally dead, but then bursts forth with renewed greenness.... it's lovely.

it IS astonishing!

Very nice images, as always.

I confess. Fall is my favorite time of year but spring is quite special, too. A person can't help but feel rejuvenated by seeing the signs of life emerging.

I really enjoyed your photos from a few days ago, too, with the red winged blackbird, tulips, etc.

Take care.

Wonderful quotations to go along with those magical shots!

So neat how the second photo looks almost black and white in the blurred background, but colorful up close. How true that every spring is absolutely astonishing!

Stunning! Especially the first one. The quotations were perfect for the images and for the season. I especially enjoyed the one from Robin Williams. Party!

The first picture is my favorite, but as usual I am in awe at your ability to capture a season so beautifully, both with your pictures and your choice of quotations. Thank you!

Those are great! I love the quote about the "shrieking into the night." Brings up lots of "writerly" ideas. Thanks!

We are a bit further along down here ... all blooming trees almost done. Sigh

I'm in awe. I don't know how it is that every time I come here you make me go "Wow!", but you do. You'd think by now I'd expect greatness.

Ditto Suldog. I haven't seen a robin's egg in 40 years - thanks for sharing this one. Love that quote!

Beautiful spring capture, of the vernal renewal and growth... Such details...
It feels almost like summer here as we have had an unusual spring so far, very warm and dry and the nature has leaped forward incredibly.

I love spring but we've had so much rain it's been a bit depressing..but I guess the flowers and leaves do stand out more against a grey background! I love the last pic..hopefully the occupant of the egg has flown the coup!

Gorgeous! We have a nest of robins at our front door. But no parrot...thank you for all the help....

• Yaya, it's been pretty rainy but the grass sure has been doing well because of it. I hope you're right about that bird too. I'm not sure. Thanks for stopping by. :)
