So I suppose it shouldn't have surprised me to find a number of snails slooooooowly making their way up a tree.
I don't know what they hoped to find there but whatever it was, it couldn't have been anywhere near as rewarding as climbing my way to the top of the blog pile occasionally. Thanks for your understanding about my fewer than usual blog visits.
And now, without further delay, here are the Posts of the week.
The icon below is yours for the taking if if your blog post is named as a Post of the Week - either as top post or as a runner up.

Nice snail shots. I once took a picture of a snail moving across a paper flier. Looked like it was eating it. Maybe it was dissolving the flier. Not sure if that helps solve the mystery or not.
I understand about losing the battle with commenting on blogs. I haven't been the best at that myself lately. Hoping to get back to it this summer.
Im in snail-mode too;) But i have to say your snail captures are much more pleasant than where i'm at in the pace. They're actually beautiful:))
Tis the season for getting behind on reading blog posts! So much else is happening in life... and I had no idea that snails climbed trees!
I've never seen even one snail climb a branch - let alone 3! Thank you for the POTW nomination. I appreciate it.
Love the snails! They are exceptionally pretty ones!

I think I can relate to your sentiments here dear Hilary.;) In a way I like to watch snails move, it somehow calms me down.;)
Congratulations to everyone.;)
Have a great mid week dear friend,
xoxo
I have been having a hard time reading all the blogs as well. Life happens!!! So I definitely understand. Nice pic by the way!
Now I am off to read your Post of the Week.
Hugs

Your snails look good enough to eat?! LOL - only joking! Thanks for your mention of the E+P collaboration. :)
Thanks for the POTW nod, Hilary. And, btw, only YOU could make me like the look of a snail. :)
Cool photo!
I always appreciate your thoughtful visits :)

Silly snails ... fabulous reccos
Oh, what a wonderful snail shot!
And thank you for the kind mention this week.
Love the snail shots ... why do they climb there and where do they think they are going!!! Last year when we were in Ireland on a grassy bluff, we happened up hundreds of snails in the grass. Had to be so careful as to not step on them! It was beautiful!
Very neat photo with the snails! I've been enjoying this week's posts throughout the day. I've NEVER nominated anyone for a POTW before, but for next week, I have to nominate Linda from "Behold the Beauty" for her photographs today (5/24):

Congrats to all!
Gorgeous Snails! Ours do not have that wonderful fashion sense here!
Congrats to all your winners and thanks for the good reads!
I'm not a fan of snails, but your picture helped me appreciate their beauty.
Thank you for the shout out.
I'm so glad you featured ds's post! The rest, I'd have to scurry over and see. Good to see you're catching things all over the place.
Nice and slow, fantastic picture.
Sometimes I feel like those snails. By the way, I've never seen snails in a tree. Cool!
Cool shot and very original, with those snails. Have a great week!
Ohhhh, Hilary! You have made snails look beautiful (they climb trees? Who knew?)!!!
I have a lot of great reading to catch up on.
Thank you so very much...
You even make snails look good. :) Thanks for pointing us to some good reading this week.
Loved the picture of the snails. You do have to wonder just what they thought they were going to find. Thanks for the blog posts -
That's an interesting photo of the snails Hilary. Here at the moment we are getting a few days of steady heavy rain and the snails are climbing up our house walls outside and settling on the windows. Getting out of the rain I guess. This afternoon even a worm had managed to get under the door and crawled across the lounge carpet towards the gas heater. Fortunatlely for it the heater wasn't going! - Dave
Thanks for stopping by, everyone. Your kind words to the POTW bloggers and me are very much appreciated.
Awesome snail photo. I had no idea they were on trees. Fancy that, I learned something new!!

That was a fun blog tour! With the warm weather and the longer days, it's not always easy to be online. Better to be together in spirit outdoors!
Never thought I would like a photo with snails! Your post was just too cute!
That is a fab.u.lous photo! I've never seen snails crawling on anything. So now I'm going to try to read a few of your POTWs and other blogs that I've been neglecting. Life just seems to get in the way, sometimes.
