I see a dragon in the shadow cast by the oak leaf. Beautiful detail in the photo itself.

That oak leaf looks like it's been polished, ready to be placed on display. Nice!

Great choices for POTW and am now off to read those that I missed.

So the other day I saw this perfect red leaf on the street, I picked it up and put it my pocket so I could take its photo when I got home ... and then I forgot it was in my pocket, hung up the coat ... next time I put on the coat I stuck my hand in the pocket and crunch .. I thought WTF? Then I went OH SHEET ... that's the way the leaf crumbles

My favorites were the last three, in that order. I really enjoyed the Swedish post, it had a lot of spirit.

YAY POTW!!!! That oak leaf is so pretty ... my daughter found a maple leaf with almost that same hue, and I just thought the color was so pure and stunning!

That is a perfect photo - the contrast between the dark, grittiness of the ground and the shiny, smoothe appearance of the leaf! I like the shadow too.

I think I'll take a look at one of your post recommendations. Hmmm...which one will it be? :)

A golden leaf, I would never want to touch it.

Very rich looking, and, oddly enough, the textured pavement works well too.
