Photo of a Cutie and Posts of the Week

Along with this weeks POTW, I thought I'd share a favourite photo with you. My neighbour Dawn has some family visiting her this summer. Last week, her adorable niece had been playing between my front yard and the next when she climbed up on a low step and peeked over the top of the fence. She looked so sweet, I just had to snap a shot and request permission to include it below. Isn't she a cutie?

Now without further delay, here are the Posts of the Week.

The icon to the left here is yours for the taking if your blog post has been named as a Post of the Week - either as top post or as a runner up, today or in past weeks.

This week's top post is about a little guy who could use our help. It goes to:

That little girl Dawn is a real beauty. What a great shot you took Hilary - it is worthy to feature in any magazine. I want to adopt her!

And I am completely overcome at receiving the POTW award - I did not expect any award but I am deeply honoured - thank you.

This was my very first post, published in January 2009. I received 5 comments then and I think one was mine LOL. I believe and the first one I had was from that lovely lady Granny On The Web. For some reason the comment has gone! I must have pressed the wrong key somewhere.

I posted the article again to illustrate an answer I gave to TechnoBabe in the previous post.

Thank you again and congratulations to the other winners.

Hugs ~ Eddie

I can see I am on a roll; I have already seen some of the posts you recommend this week. There are some great posts this week. The picture is.. is.. I just cannot express how cute the little girl is. I had so much fun when my girls were young so this little girl brings back such fond memories of painting nails and brushing hair.
