Mystery Object and Posts of the Week

I thought I'd add an extra element to this week's POTW. A "mystery object" photo.

Please look at the image below. It's a close up view of part of a larger object which I saw on my way to Frank's one day. Do your best to guess what it is in the comments section. I'll publish the full image, along with other photos in tomorrow's post. Thanks for playing along!

So what do you think it is?

Without further delay, here are this week's Posts of the Week:

My guess on the mystery object is a window screen with a curtain in front of it. Because the mesh looks similar to my close up shots of window screens. I am looking forward to finding out the answer.

I love the new magenta look to the icon.;))
As always, I am looking forward to read some wonderful posts. Congratulations to everyone.
Love the idea with the image.;) I am a bit lost, but to me it looks like a row of trash cans, with plastic bags in them. Can't wait to know what it truly is.;)
Have a lovely day,
xo

Thank you for selecting those wonderful posts for us to read... I'm off checking out a couple of new ones now! :)
I think the photo is an extreme close-up of a some kind of lamp or headlight...

Hi Hilary, Thanks for including me in the list of Other Wonderful Posts of the week.

As for your image - I will guess dog kennels with plastic to keep the rain out??? I'll be back to find out what it really is!

Fabulous post and I so enjoyed visiting the blogs you featured. Some wonderful stories and I really appreciate you finding and sharing them.
As for your mystery object...hmmmmm....it's a construction site where the windows have been covered with metal screening and then someone tried to cover those with plastic.
How about that for a creative guess?
HA!

I think it looks like a screened window with a curtain blowing across it. And thanks for the mention of my 30th Street Station post!

the image is quite cool actually, but I have no idea. You're good!

I am going with Zuzana's guess as she guessed it before I did...

It looks like curtains blowing to me but that might be too easy.

Is it a curtain blowing in the wind? I bet that answer is too easy...hmmmmm, can't think of a good alternative though.

Hi Hilary, your appreciation of my post this week is a welcome surprise. Thank you for the acknowledgment in your blog and for your wonderful comments on my blog.
My guess regarding the mystery photo is rabbit hutches. How's that for imagination?

Joanne said...

Hm, it looks like some kind of screening, or cages. A chicken coop of some sort?

How about the bag inside a wire basket that catches shredded paper from a paper shredder?

Would you like to share any of our snow, Cuzzie? We have accumulated nearly one foot (that's 25cm in "Canadian").

MORE to read? Help!! Your choices are always intriguing and worth the visits. I think it is a sorting area for something or other. Plastic bags for recycle sorting?

Dianne said...

I think Bonnie is right
some sort of kennel covered with plastic

Congrats to all the POTW folks

Off to read

Darling Hilary...your 'post a comment' is in the wrong place and difficult to see...plus, I hate to winge but I still have to go back to my blog, then click on yours in between reading the winners.

At first I thought it was curtains between screens, but that would be too easy. I intrigued and will be back tomorrow. Now I'm off to read your nomonees.

I've read four, All good of course but have to come back for the others as it is taking too long...the 'comment' bit has straightened itself out but the back and forth is still happening.XXX

What a treat to awake and find myself included in your prestigious list! Thank you so much; your comments on my posts always make my day, and then this...!

As for the mystery object...I have no idea, but I'm guessing maybe recycling bins?

Suldog said...

My best guess is perhaps a cage, or enclosure, of some sort? Maybe a rabbit hutch? Don't know about the 'curtain', though.

A garbage bin?

Thanks for the POTW. I have been busy of late, and I know I have missed some great reading. I can always count on visiting here and being pointed in the right direction.

Thanks everyone for playing along. Several of you are close and a couple of you are correct. I'll have the full image up along with others tomorrow.

All of you were creative in your thinking but Brian, I had no idea you wore puffy shirts! ;)

Thanks also for always supporting those named in the Posts of the Week. You folks are the greatest!

Thanks for the honor, Hilary! That means a lot to me.

I have been thinking about your mystery pictures. My Rorschach moment tells me it's a slender woman trying to put on a sheer, slinky dress. But no....Can't wait to find out.

messymimi said...

My first thought was a chicken coop, too, but I can't wait to see what it turns out to be.

Oh, that's easy. It's the ligament in my left knee. Duh. ;)
