Shared Spaces and the Posts of the Week

I never know which photos I'm going to include with the POTW on Wednesdays. Sometimes I have a couple of odd images which don't fit in with anything else and other times I see a bit of a theme between them, as is the case with this trio. Each photo shows a space shared by two or more inhabitants of sorts.

seed on QAL stem
If you look down the stem, you'll see a milkweed seed clinging to the stem of this Queen Ann's Lace. It was photographed the same day as the images in my Milkweed post last week.

burr and hawthorne leaf
I always get a kick out of seeing a leaf or a seed cling to another plant and this Hawthorn leaf and burr are no exception.

fungi and woodpecker holes
Another shared space is this tree stump. It's become home to this lovely, green fungi, and it must house a few bugs because it sure would appear that the woodpeckers visit from time to time. As an added bonus, it's a resting place for a fallen leaf.

And now, without further delay, here are the Posts of the Week. The icon below is yours for the taking if if your blog post is named as a POTW.

All 3 of your photos also share a great deal of texture in their subjects.
Congratulations to all POTW entries this week. I don't always have time to comment but I do try to stop by and read each one.

I loved your version of 'two for the price of one' pictures - especially the first one, in all its delicious delicateness. Thank you once again for a real treat.

The leaf on the burr was a good catch. You have such good perspective, you can see possibilities from top or side or all around.

Your camera is so much an extention of you, have you always been a photographer, even as a child? These shots are all sumptious, as ever.

There are a few new blogs to me in here this week, I look forward to coming back to visit with some (smile)!

Hilary's post brought to mind a conversation I had with a dear friend. Its focus was introspective yet this same individual didn't recognize at that time the extent of their boundless talents.

My point: its all about relationships.
