Please Stand By

It's been a busy couple of weeks but I'll have some new photos for you soon. In the works are images of our street party, time up at the cottage, a raccoon update, everyday walks in the park and a special little critter - not necessarily in that order. So please stand by and thank you for your patience.

Benny double-dog dares you to take his soccer ball.

You lose!

Glad to hear the postcard arrived.

He is adorable. You stories about him make me miss our Akela. I don't miss the babysitting and all the other maintenance she required, but I do miss her antics and her unconditional love for us!

Hi Hilary, just got back from vacation down east, it's so nice there, wish I could stay longer!!! I'll be posting lots of pics. Meanwhile, that Benny is a terror isn't he! And your flower portraits in your previous post are truly lovely.

Can't wait to see the new photos, but I agree, with Benny's charming face front and center in the meantime, I sure can't complain!

Looking forward to your return! You have been missed!

Okay... I confess. I was missing in action for over two months, but, hey.... what's two or three months between friends??! Heh!!

Take care of yourself.

Benny pics are always welcome and entertaining. :)
My family was camping on the edge of Lake Ontario last night and I thought of you as I looked across that vast lake. My boys were a little sad that we didn't cross over into Canada, but time & money dictated a "no" to that request. If we had, I certainly would have loved to have met you!

Wouldn't we always lose against Benny?

I totally TOTALLY understand about the time thing. I'm quitting the blogging for now as a result, with the last post up today.
But I'll still visit, so you'll see me around here, and at Frank's. :)

Dianne said...

a post with Benny in it is a day of sunshine!!

• Thubelina, I'm sorry to hear that you're quitting blogging, even if for just a while. I'm very happy though to know you'll still be around. I understand. Truly I do. Keep in touch, pal. And yes, we'd always lose against Benny. :)

• Sunshine.. and the occasional storm, Diane. I'm glad you enjoy the little guy. :)

Are we to be as patient as Benny?

Hilary said...

Yes, Louise.. within a split-second of his patience duration - which is at least twice that. ;)
