You Keep Me Searching: A Music Challenge

Another lyrics quiz. Same rules as last time.

What do these ten sets of lyrical snippets have in common?

I'll be away from the computer for a few days. Until then I'm turning on moderation. Please leave your answers in the comments section. I'll see them all, and post them when I get back.

By the way, the kidlet with the guitar is my youngest. I'll write about him one day soon.

Have fun!

1) Don't you know you fool, you never can win
Use your mentality, wake up to reality

2) She's got a dime all of the time,
Stays out at night movin' through time.

3) And if you would let them hold you,
Oh how grateful I will be.

4) Oh I love to go out fishing
In a river or a creek

5) If I had a tale that I could tell you
I'd tell a tale sure to make you smile

6) Will you meet me in the middle, will you meet me in the air?
Will you love me just a little, just enough to show you care?

7) I have never known the like of this,
I've been alone and I have missed things

8) It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet

9) The sight of you leaves me weak.
There are no words left to speak,

Its down to me
The difference in the clothes she wears

Sorry, I am not up on lyrics and songs. Cool picture of your son.
I'm glad you liked my macro rose. Its one of my favorites.

I don't know how to play, but I think I only know one of the songs anyways.

All are from songs with body parts in the title?

I have to confess, after I came up with the hypothesis from the few songs I knew, I googled a few others that I didn't recognize to get some confirmation. Is that cheating?

And I was too lazy to do them all, so I could be wrong, but it was looking like a serious trend.

Will miss you while you're away, hope you're having fun!

All of the titles have body parts in them!

Did I win? What's my prize?

Hilary; the Bag Lady's age is showing...she only recognizes a couple of those lyrics. (and at one time, music was her life...!) Being the new kid on the block, she doesn't know the rules of this game, either, so she's just going to say: Hurry Back, it's lonely out here in the blogosphere without your fine wit!

Thanks for stopping by for a visit

Maybe next time. I'm glad you stopped by to check it out.

Ding, Ding, Ding! You got it. And nope, I sure don't consider confirming with Google a problem.

Thanks, I had great fun while I was away and will probably write about it sometime soonish. Sometime after I've caught up on everyone else's blog that is.

You smartie too! What do you win? I think I'm going to have to start designing Winners' Certificates.. hmmm..

Bag Lady,

Now if you were *really* old, you'd have known most of those songs.. like I do.. errr never mind.

I guess I wasn't all that clear about the rules either. Sorry about that. I simply wanted folks to come up with what the lyrical snippets had in common.
