This week, I've been spending my time relaxing in this.
Fishing for these. (Walleye photo credit to Frank)
And enjoying a lot of that.
If you want to see some fine photos, head over to Frank's brand new photography blog Canon Fodder. You won't be sorry. Of course, he'll be away from blogging for the same time period that I will, but I'm sure he'll have lots of new shots to share with you shortly after we return.
I have more scheduled posts coming up. One as soon as tomorrow!

It looks a wonderful place.
Enjoy yourselves. Your lake is so private compared to ours. Reminds me of Minnesota lakes where I grew up. But, we take what we can get.
Have a grand time.
Much as I love your lake views, I think the hammock is my favorite this time 'round - it's the lines and shadows that intrigue me.
I watched the video once...and listened again while gazing at the photo of the lake...seeing the calm water at twilight and hearing the splashes is magical!
the last shot with two chairs is awesome...
It is a fine place to relax.
That Walleye looks good enough to eat!!! Ha! Bet you did too! Nothing can beat a fresh caught fish for dinner! Yum!!
Hugs

relax relax, you're lucky ;D
if you need me i will be in the hammock...smiles.
so jealous..enjoy
With all of the time you guys spend away, have you considered getting a 3G USB card? Not that you want to spend a lot of cottage time on the puter, but it could come in handy. Cuppa has one for her new used iPad.
Thanks Bennie for the morning chuckle!! :-)
Have fun guys!
***Relaxing sigh*** Jealous!!! :)
MMMM I can taste that fish. Hope you are catching a lot.
eddie is so adorable! :)
signing up for the duration - give a good man a good lens...
Well now, look where that comment showed up - it was meant for Frank's new blog! I used to be tech savvy...
Thanks for steering me in the new blog's direction. Have a relaxing week!
Have a great time, Hilary! I know Benny won't need any encouragement to have fun. I'll head over to Frank's now.
Very nice...
Regards from France,
Pierre
So in those chairs at the end of the dock! Jumping over to Frank's place.
I'd linger there as long as I could.
Like a duck to water that Benny boy is! Love your dog.

Enjoy your vacay/time away!!
That fish shot is cool! Good on Frank!
Enjoy your time at the cottage. We're renting one this year and enjoying our time there too.
The fish picture really shows Frank's priorities. There was enough of you showing in the image to tell that you were smiling and posing for the photo, but Frank was taking a picture of a fish...not of you holding a fish. :) Thanks for the referral to his new blog. He's got some great captures there.
Awww, have fun. And I love anything with Benny!
Oh, I know you're enjoying yourself, Hilary. How wonderful. Love the photos and the video was fun.
Ahhhh, summertime! Doggies swimming in the lake, huge fish and chairs by the water - all relaxing and fun activities.
Enjoy the cottage.
Hugs

Can I borrow your hammock while you're not there? Love the photos (always, of that lake). Benny is a breed unto himself: Jack Russell Retriever!
Have a wonderful time.
Nice! Enjoy!
Your photos always make me feel like I am right there seeing what you are seeing. Love the video of Benny!
