Oh my gosh, Hilary. Such stunning photography!
Nice macro-photos Hilary - Dave
Your blog makes my wish to feel closer to nature come true, even when I'm stuck indoors. Thanks for recommending my post this week.
Your photos are great.
your shot of the arrow-seeds in the pin-cushion of the dandelion thrills me!

I haven't seen a denadelion in ages, but that's one thing I want to try to photograph well. These are excellent ...
Oh wow! Your photos are stunning!
great shots! Did you blow on it a long time?
Beautiful seed heads that you zoom into with perfection.

You can't beat the dandelion, but, you can. They are remarkable, brilliant macro.

You really know how to take macros, and I sure do appreciate all the tips you give me as well. I LOVE POTWs, since I've got more good stuff to check out. I don't know how to read so many, Hilary, but I'm glad you do. :-)
Love Love Love these!
Awwwww, thanks.
Excellent dandelion pics.
I don't know what to say about your photos anymore. I've run out of superlatives. So, as I've begged before, I beg again: Publish them somehow, and give a wider audience the chance to come up with the words I am now lacking.
When I had a macro lens, I too found dandelions made an excellent subject.
Your photo's are 'knock your socks off' great!
I'm pretty confident others are inspired by your photography.
I have been having trouble commenting on blogs that I read for some reason. I hope that if I read these POTW I can pat them on the back...virtually.
thank you, hilary. once again, great photos and great picks for POTW. my eyes apparently needed a good flushing this morning, and boy, did 'that damn war' give it to me...
Thank you as always for all the work you put in to your blog. That top photograph actually brought me to a screaming halt. Powerful. You make me look at things so differently.
Always great surprises when I visit here! Thanks, H.
thank you... you are very kind :)
and so great to meet new bloggers through POTW.
Thanks Hilary, I'm flattered to be included in this week's POTW with my little swan family. I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time.
I'll be making a wish on your beautiful photos today.
THANKS, xo jj
These look interesting. I'll drop by at some of them.
I love the look of dandelion clocks. Weeds or not, I can't see too many of them.
Beautiful pictures, I love dandelions, especially the seed heads; they bring out our inner child, if we let them. Thank you,
awww!! terrific images!
love, love every single one!
popped in to say hi!
My youngest grandkiddo made a million wishes this spring in my yard...and I bet I'll have a million more dandelions in the yard next spring to wish on!
Hope our wishes all come true!
hello Hillary
your dandy photos are gorgeous
i love them.
love your wispy wishing stars!
Oh, dear Hillary - the wish I make is that none of those spores lands in my garden! Thank you for the POTW honor.
Thanks for this opportunity to wish....And thanks for sharing these posts.
Spectacular shots! That dandelion center resembles a golf ball.
Congrats to all the POTWers!! Will check them out as I am able.
These photos are so beautiful, Hilary! I've never seen one up close. Thank you!
And congrats to the POTW!
Great macro stuff. Makes me wish for a macro lens, sort of.
"Dandilions don't tell no lies" and looks like they bared their souls in your photos. Great images!
I love dandelions, my favorite wild blooms of the spring. I never understood why gardeners hate them, there is nothing lovelier than a lawn full with these stunning beauties.;)
Now they are gone, and so are their gossamer parachutes...
Congrats to all these lovely people mentioned here,
xoxo
those dandelions are breathtaking...which makes it hard to set the seeds sailing ;)
I have been busy finishing up quarter, but THANK YOU!!!!!! I am sorry to be late in saying so!
xxamy
Dandelions remind me of my childhood; the lazy days of summer.
Like most children thought and did; they had to be picked and blown. :)
