This pretty amber globe appears by the dozens in small clusters all over the park path at this time of the year.. Any idea what it might be?
How about this bird seed sack? It was used for a particular purpose that had nothing to do with
birds. Would you like to guess what it might have contained and why?
Now here's something that might have had something to do with birds and other animals. And it ties in with the previous two photos. At least it did when it was alive. Would you like to venture a guess as to what that connection is?
In my next post, I'll explain how the three images relate to one another - with more photos, of course.

1 am married to a fellow who has the same outdoor hobby as your fellow, so pretty sure what all this stuff is. If it relates to the book Baron wrote...my guess is right and I won't spoil it for others. If not, than I will be intrigued when you reveal all.

As for your wonderful photographs, my head is not functioning this early in the morning.;) The amber pearls resemble to me tree sap. Hmm, the other two - it must be something to do with something that is killing something. Ok, now that sounded very intelligent, right? Hehe.;)

I await the expose', for I haven't a clue as to how they could be connected. Intriguing photos, as usual.
One thing for sure is I'll be back for the next post. I'm too busy trying to think hat's in the picture let alone think what your post might be on. For each picture if you take a second look it's not what I think it is. So okay, I've beat around the bush and haven't committed myself.

That picture of the bones reminds me of a snake skeleton I recently took a picture of; the hapless fellow had been caught and stripped clean by a hawk. Is that what happened here?

Well, the first is a photo of rare Pixie sap, which when dried and ground makes the infamous Pixie dust.
The second photo is obviously the Pixie Ferry for transporting the stones across the creek. They are much to heavy in this state for the Pixies to fly them across.
The last photo is the fate that befalls the fish that tries to steal the Pixie stones as they are being ferried across the creek. Pixies can be very protective of their property.
Now, I am off to read a few links.

Hi Hilary, Very nice to be a POTW recipient! Thank you. High blood pressure is a topic that we all should know about because it happens to people without any symptoms. There is a reason why it is called the silent killer. I will probably post it again during Heart Month which is in February, I think. Thanks again for your part in supporting its awareness.
To those of you reading this, stop in your local pharmacy and get your blood pressure taken.
