Love the way you captured the light in those images...nice quotes too.
Always inspiring to see what quotes you put with which photos. Very nice and thanks. Do wish that last photo of the man did not have him held back by the fence. it is like they were afraid he would fall in!
Gorgeous shots - the flowers in the first one are stunning!
Beautiful shots all. But that last one has something special to it. Evokes many emotions.
the last shot, I would love to see that in b/w ... so evocative
oo i really like that last picture of the man...and the goose one kinda made me laugh...
always beautiful Hilary.
The forsythia is perfect, as is the Lindberg quote, but that last picture really got me. As always, I am humbled by your talent. Thank you for sharing. :-)
what a great sprinkling. really like the light in that first shot!
You have an eye for capturing magickal light. It is so beautiful and emotional. I just love what you do. Oma Linda
These posts are always a favorite of mine. Great photos that go along with meaningful quotations.
Love the photos and the quotes. The last picture is just breathtaking!
Lovely, peaceful and relaxing images Hillary.
There's so much to see in the photo of the man on the bench. It's just a wonderful photograph. By the way, that Fred Allen quote about putting the quill back in the goose...that's just how I feel about my camera after viewing one of your posts. :)
Forsythia makes me happy! Love that first photo.
Absolutely stunning photographs. I try to get macro shots myself but I've never mastered it properly.

I agree about the forsythia, but I am loving that goose! There is something happy about him/her...
I love the forsythia and the dead leaf holding on to the bud.
Nice assortment. Love the finches (of course) but the bench shot is a real beaut. :)
I love the combination of pictures and quotes. You always leave me with something to think about.
Refreshing time of the day, and I like your pictures and written bit under each photo.
As usual, you inspire me. Everything from the young in spring, to the Posts of the Week. Especially Skittles. I so hope he is better and home delighting you.
Beautiful beautiful ~ all of it.
Of course i like them; i need more flowers in my life.
I love how the quotes go perfectly with the photos. Nice post!! :)
that last shot is sweet! looks like a boat full of sunshine movin' in (or out)
Love to see your *different* birds. Wells different from ours, anyway.

Beautiful all! The Light in the last picture is very interesting. Where did the light on the bench and the white birch come? If you used flash, I am in awe of your skill, amazing.
Lovely pictures.
i love how you quoted each photo....perfectly !!
Lovely pictures, I really like that last one with the sunset.
"When I let go of what I am, I allow what might be..." Love that.
Pondering and pondering and pondering some more. Good one.
Lovely images, too.
Ah. Beautiful.
Nice pictures and quotes Hilary - Dave
Oh, what a beautifully evocative frame you've captured in this last shot, Hilary. Love, love love the suggestions/possibilities it conjours, (is that Frank sitting there?) who is this lone figure enjoying the sunset, what story does he have - sighhh.
Lovely pictures and the quotes!
Beautiful as always. I enjoy Tagore's writings.
Wow. So gorgeous.
That last one actually brings tears to my eyes. Beautiful!
Great photos and quotes.
Love all the shots but that last one is gorgeous. I think I could sit on that bench forever and watch the setting sun.
love the sky in that last one. the goose is lovely too but i am so twisted i want to give it some sort of far side type of caption.
What great quotes to go with those awesome pics! I love the one with "Be grateful for luck"...I always say if you have the choice between being lucky or being good...chose luck every time!
I wish I was sitting on that bench in the last one...
I got to see Eubie Blake play when he was in his nineties. Pure joy. He made it impossible to hate anybody. You'd have to go away from him to even cultivate a snit.
Wonderful quotes, love the one about clouds. I like the blossom picture very much! Cheers, Ruby
Loved the quotes and the forsythia. Mine bloomed so early I barely got a photo.
I have missed a lot of photo ops with our busy renovating project and a very, very early spring in Arkansas.
You've captured the essence of spring beautifully here.
the light thru the blossoms is wonderful
the goose is sweet, looks like he's off on a walk
man and sunset is beautiful
hugs to Skitty
My favourites today are the last quote and the contemplative observer of nature on the bench. I like it when humans are added to the mix.
Hilary: You brought back a memory with the mention of Eubie Blake from my 5th Grade Music Teacher. All of these images are so well wed to the quotations! lol!!!! :)
The first flower shot is so lovely <3
Love that fellow on the bench! The sky is lovely and he's enjoying it...
Beautiful photos. I'm not enjoying the black fence at East end of the lake - no longer have an unobstructed view and have been walking/sitting at the lake since early 90's! 3 separate people have given 3 separate reasons as to why the black fence was installed in the first place.
All beautiful but I like the last one most of all, what colors! So serene.
Happy Wednesday Hilary!
