Here, There and Back Again
I have a few miscellaneous photos taken somewhere, sometime in the past few weeks. I hope you enjoy.
Benny is here to greet you on this mini tour.
First stop: The pond in our neighbourhood park. It was one of those days when the sun was playing hide and seek behind the gathering, gray clouds. At some point, I looked down into the water and noticed the gray reflection of trees and hazy sunlight.
These weeping willow catkins are suspended over the water from sweeping boughs.
This is somewhere on the northern shores of Lake Ontario. Dusty, blue-green paint - chipped, flaked and weathered by the sun. It once covered this row boat from bow to stern.
Back home again, I missed the shot of him hopping around and pecking for worms but I got the unexpected bonus of this robin taking off.
A picnic table in the park. Somebody left their craft scissors behind.

I sure did enjoy this.I love the trees reflected in the water and then to have the sun as a starburst is gorgeous.
Beginning and finishing with Benny was cute.
Bennie gives a welcome smile to your post. The reflection in the water really challenges the viewer until we look at the caption.

Benny, soaking up some sun. Has he...ahem...put on a little weight this winter? No matter. He's still my favorite JRT. And who am I to point out anyone else's weight gain? ;)
Benny looks like a super-pooch!
That row boat - I love that shot. I couldn't even begin to get a sense of what I was looking at initially because I was so taken with the patterning and colors. How amazing would that shot be blown up to fill a wall in a tiny room, where you couldn't back up and see it all at once, and had no choice just to enjoy it in small, saturated servings? Totally, that's how amazing it would be. And of course Benny's always a delightful sight - love that whiskery little face!
Although the miscellaneous photos are delightful, Benny has to win this time!

My favorite is the robin about to take flight. Great catch!
U love the dogs! But I always go forthe dogs. But I loved the symbolism of the scissors. I might have used a cutline, 'a cut left behind.'
this weekend every robin I pointed my camera or iPhone at flew away before I could get a shot ... glad to see you caught one

Awww, Benny basking in the spring sunshine! I posted twilight shots of park ponds and willow trees today. I will have to go back and watch for a fabulous sun-filled photo op! :)

Awww, Benny is so cute! I love the Robin photo as well - very quirky, gives the appearance that the bird has "boinged" into the air. Ha Ha! :D

I liked the tour, of course, but Benny didn't look so much as though he was greeting me as much as he looked ready to chomp on my yarbles if I stepped out of line.
As always, it was a great visit. There is always something interesting to see when we take the time to look. Great to see Benny again, too. The perfect beginning and ending.
Good stuff. That last shot of Ben makes me feel old. He's as gray as I am. ;)
I love the grizzled look on Benny. Is he showing his age or the life of a party-animal? :)
